The Future
One never knows what the future holds. We’ve seen diaries move to online blogs, and we are now seeing vlogs, or video blogging becoming the new rage. More and more predators are appearing as our youth makes themselves targets online.
We can only hope that as the blogging world advances and increases, the police surveillance and other safety measures being taken to protect our children online advance with the technology.
We can hope for a blogging world were you can safely place images without the risk of them being stolen, without the risk of being abused by an online predator. If our cyber space becomes a safer place, it’ll be better of society in a whole. We wouldn’t have to open a newspaper and read about a 12 year old girl who was abused by a man she met online, who claimed to be a 14 year old. We’ll stop having to monitor or children, and trust in them. It’d take a lot of stress off of the shoulders of parents and friends, and sharing information would be easier for everyone.
A safer, better online world would benefit all who use the internet.
